The Holy Fail (Based on the Holy Grail)

Original Lyrics:
Woke up this morning from the strangest dream
I was in the biggest army the world has ever seen
We were marching as one
On the road to the holy grail

Started out seeking fortune and glory
Its a short song but it's a hell of a story
When you spend lifetime trying to get your hands
On the holy grail

Well have you heard about the great crusade
We ran into millions, but nobody got paid
Yeah we raised four corners of the globe
For the holy grail

All the locals scattered, they were hiding in the snow
We were so far away from home, so how were we to know
There be nothing left to plunder
When we stumble on the holy grail

We were full of beans
But we were dying like flies
And those big black birds, they were circling in the sky
And you know what they say, yeah, nobody deserves to die

You know I, i been searching for an easy way
To escape this cold light of day
I been high and I been low
But I got nowhere else to go

Theres nowhere else to go

And i followed orders
God knows where i've been
But i woke up alone
All my wounds were clean
Im still here
Im still a fool for the holy grail

oh yeah im a fool for the holy grail
Changed Lyrics:
Once there was a course unlike the world had ever seen,
A small, obscure subject where no-one could ever seem
to fail or lose a mark or even,
discontinue fail.

And so there came four students, each from different faculties
who enrolled in this course, having previously agreed
That they'd each do their best to achieve
the Holy Fail

The engineering student drank all day and night
He was so smashed that he couldn't write
He turned up, blind drunk to the exam
But couldn't fail

All the tutes and test, the art's student missed them all
But the lecturer could see this, and he filled out a few forms
She got special consideration
not elation, and no holy fail!

The Law student begged
to be allowed to drop the class
But the lecturer refused, called her arguments a farce
And do you know what he said, yeah, everybody deserves to pass!

And so, the science student studied all day long
and he learnt all of the arnswers wrong
But what he soon would see
was that the course was marked subjectively

And holistically

And so I tell this tale
Of failing to be dumb
But now I wonder if
the fail can yet be done
Now I've enrolled
I'm now a fool for the holy fail

oh yeah im a fool for the holy fail
