The Day the Earth Stood Still

Fade up to a shot in space. During this sequence, you see the planets of the solar system rush by in order from the outer planets inwards. Once it reaches the sun, the shot zooms out to a top-down view of the planets in their orbit.

For fourteen billion years, the universe has existed. For five billion years, the earth has orbited the sun. For three million years, the human race has lived on this planet. This summer, all of that could end. Coming to a cinema near you:

The Earth suddenly stops in its orbit with a 'screech', followed by specks falling off it due to momentum with a scream, followed by a series of pops.
